As he matured, that passion evolved into a deeper desire to serve. He began volunteering in the youth ministry of his local church, using his musical gifts to lead worship and connect with young people. In that space—among teens searching for identity, hope, and truth—he discovered a deeper call not just to perform, but to pastor. He became a mentor, a listener, and a guide, committed to walking with youth as they found their own faith and voice in Christ. But God was writing an even greater story.

As years passed, Pastor Smalls continued to grow in wisdom, leadership, and spiritual authority. It became clear that God was preparing him for something more—something sacred. When the time came, he was called to step into the role of Senior Pastor, following in the footsteps of a spiritual giant: his grandmother.
For over 30 years, she faithfully shepherded the congregation, laying down a firm foundation rooted in prayer, perseverance, and unwavering faith. She was a pillar of strength and grace, and under her leadership, the church became a beacon of light in the community. Now, Pastor Smalls carries that legacy forward—not to replicate the past, but to honor it while leading the church into a new season of revival and purpose. With a heart rooted in worship, a message fueled by hope, and a vision shaped by the Holy Spirit, he ministers with compassion, authenticity, and a deep commitment to the Word of God. Pastor Smalls believes that the church is not a building, but a living body—a family—called to love one another and serve the world with Christ at the center. His mission is clear: to disciple a generation, equip believers, and build a community where faith is lived out daily.
